If you are interested in taking a CELTA course at Lenguas-Vivas, firstly you need to complete and submit the application form available on our site. The application consists of two parts; the general information form and the pre-interview tasks.
If you meet the entry requirements, we will contact you to arrange a time for an interview. Interviews can be done in person or by phone or Skype.
After the interview, the interviewer will either offer you a place on a course, suggest you wait before taking the course (perhaps you need to develop your language awareness) or advise you that the course is not right for you.
If you are offered a place, you need to pay a deposit to secure that place.
The course fee is 1.520€. A non-refundable deposit of 750€ will be payable upon the acceptance of a place on the course. The course fee covers the delivery of the course and all administrative costs to Cambridge ESOL. Course materials such as books are available for candidates to borrow. The fee does not include travel, accommodation or day-to-day living expenses (e.g. lunch).

My name is Ilonka. I’m from Chile but I grew up in South Africa. And CELTA really changed my life for the better. If you want access to the world and you want to have fun at the same time, get your CELTA.
For me, first of all, it made me a very good teacher and in fact, I wouldn’t be teaching without my CELTA. But most of all it has really opened up the doors to the world. You can literally go to any non-English speaking country and find a job fairly easily as an English teacher.
For me, a CELTA made it very easy for me to find a job and it made me look more professional as well. A lot of places require the CELTA and without it I wouldn’t have found the jobs that I did so easily.
In fact, few, if any, short courses open the world for you in the way that CELTA does. I’ve really enjoyed the experiences that I have had so far with my CELTA.
I have a university degree and I know that I can go back to it at any time if I want to. But right now, I’m exploring the world and I’ve been able to live in different countries while I explore the world and all of that is thanks to my CELTA.
In fact, I know a degree provides stability, that’s what my parents would say, but for me, in reality, a CELTA is really what gave me opportunities.

Before starting the course, you will be sent a pre-course task and a reading list to help you
prepare.
FINAL PAYMENT
Two weeks before the course starts, you will need to pay the remaining course fees.
